A carer is someone who, without payment, provides help and support to a partner, child, friend or neighbour, who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability.

Opening Doors for Carers is proud to manage

The Carers Network - a new website that has been created to enable Carers to easily access up-to-date information on services across the city.

The website has been designed to be navigated easily, enabling Carers to go directly to the information that they want and need.

Family

The site endeavours to provide information that is always current and correct, and that contains ‘only’ the information that is relevant to Carers. Each page also gives Carers the opportunity to find out more by providing useful links.  We hope this will help Carers to venture into the World Wide Web for additional information if they would like to find out more.

Please note that The Carers Network is still developing and information will be limited while we continue to build the network – if there is information that you would like to see or place on The Carers Network, please contact us 0845 0945 855, email: info@openingdoorsforcarers.org.uk or visit The Carers Network and use the online form.
